Last week, we shared our experiences of travelling as a vegan and offered some useful tips. Today, we’re letting you know what our hotels around the world have to offer — and it’s going to be delicious!
Vegan Fine Dining on the Seiser Alm in the Dolomites
The Seiser Alm in South Tyrol was long considered a challenging place for vegans. Its clientele mainly consisted of holidaymakers who expected hearty meat dishes at hotels and mountain huts. When the owners of the Paradiso Pure.Living Vegan hotel decided to go vegetarian in 2019, they immediately lost 80% of their regular clientele! Today, however, the hotel is renowned for its plant-based cuisine and is popular with both guests and staff. In 2024, the hotel became entirely vegan. And since it’s located right on the ski slope, the terrace also serves as the only vegan ski lodge in the area.
This change is also linked to Head Chef Aggeliki Charami, who joined the team in 2023. She has already been named one of the “Top 50 Chefs of South Tyrol 2025”, earned 17 out of 20 Gault&Millau points, and been recommended in the 2026 Identità Golose Restaurant Guide.

The fine dining experience is primarily offered at the attached restaurant OMNIA. However, you can also expect sophisticated dishes as part of the half-board plan. Aggeliki particularly enjoys experimenting with fermentation and aims to tell a little story with each of her dishes. She combines Mediterranean influences from her Greek homeland, Asian techniques, and regional ingredients from the Alpine landscape.
Relaxation and Lightness in the Kitchen at Italy’s First Vegan Hotel
Aggeliki Charami also developed the culinary concept for LA VIMEA, Italy’s first entirely vegan hotel and sister property of Paradiso Pure.Living. As she herself describes it, the food there is a bit lighter and brighter—in keeping with the vibe of the sun-drenched Vinschgau Valley.
At this adults-only hotel, you’ll find peace, relaxation, and wellness.

LA VIMEA is vegan by conviction and embraces this philosophy holistically. This means that everything is free from animal suffering—from the food and furnishings to the architecture and overall lifestyle.
Amenities include a natural swimming pond, a saltwater pool, a barrel sauna with private time slots, e-bike rentals, daily yoga, and, of course, plant-based cuisine featuring regional ingredients sourced from the immediate vicinity. A special highlight is the ever-changing aperitif mocktails made with herbs from the property’s garden. Best enjoyed on the sun terrace by the pond.
Croatian cuisine without meat or eggs? Experience it at the Hotel Korinjak

Croatian cuisine has a reputation for being heavy on the meat. However, we can still recommend a hidden gem from our network. The Hotel Korinjak, the only hotel on the island of Iž, is entirely vegetarian. It offers a few dairy products but no meat or eggs.

This stems from the philosophy of Radko Vlahof, the founder, who opened Korinjak 26 years ago as the first vegetarian hotel in Croatia. Today, he runs the hotel with the second and third generations.
In addition to plant-based cuisine, you can enjoy yoga, breathwork, and various retreats here. The hotel’s rooms and furnishings are simple and minimalist. The true luxury lies in the tranquility and beautiful surroundings, which feature pine trees and the sea.
If the team is convinced, everyone is.
At SCHWARZWALD PANORAMA, the approach is to convince the staff of the benefits of meat-free dishes as well. “Since we communicate with guests through our staff, it’s essential to let the team ‘taste’ the food first. That way, they can experience it before passing on the message.” That’s why we have “Veggie Day” in the cafeteria every Wednesday, with short presentations on vegan and vegetarian diets, superfoods, the planetary health diet, and organic foods.”
And the team is convinced. That’s why the menu at the SCHWARZWALD PANORAMA features a diverse selection of organic vegetarian and vegan dishes. (The hotel is “Bioland Gold” certified.)
Other Hotels Well-Suited for Vegans

If you’re not looking for a completely vegan hotel, but rather a nice place that offers vegan and vegetarian options, you’ll find many establishments that provide plant-based alternatives. At smaller, family-run hotels, the staff are often more than willing to accommodate your needs—just let them know when you book so they can prepare accordingly.

The vegan movement is growing

When traveling, it’s really great to see that vegan options are becoming more and more widespread—and this, of course, is solely due to increased demand! So keep this in mind: Whenever you tell a hotel that you’re vegan and ask them to provide suitable options, you’re making hoteliers aware that there’s a demand for meat-free meals!
